In this 32 degree weather, I wore a sweater.

Tell me I'm the smartest person on Earth.

My day was first spent Yumcha-ing with my grandma, then off to meet my boyfriend to go to Ap Lei Chau's outlet/warehouse shopping. My boyfriend has to be the best boyfriend to agree to going there and watching me shop. We went to Horizon Plaza where there's the Lane Crawford Warehouse, Joyce Warehouse, I.T. Outlet, Polo Ralph Lauren Outlet, Armani Outlet and many more. I have to say it wasn't the best idea to go since I'm not a rich bitch and I don't have a high paying job. But nevertheless, I enjoyed digging through racks and racks of clothes and looking at shoes. There were a few Alexander Wang pieces at the LC & Joyce Warehouse for around HK$1000.

Next we headed to the Prada Space Outlet located in South Horizons' Marina Square. This was probably the highlight of the whole Ap Lei Chau trip, as the stuff in the shop was actually a lot newer and nicer than the ones at Horizon Plaza. I feel in love with the black Prada Cervo leather tote with side zippers for around HK$7000. But being poor me, I only got to drool over it. Lastly we sat down for some dinner at Taco Loco in Soho for some good old Mexican, a great change from eating my grandma's food everyday (not that I'm complaining!). And now there's only one day left of the weekend, and it's back to work!

Oh, dropped by Cher2 in Causeway Bay yesterday, a nail polish store which has branches in Central, Causeway Bay and Mongkok. They offer nail polish brands like Essie, OPI, ORLY, China Glaze and Jessica at a lower price.

Got myself Essie's Da Bush (left) and Topless and Barefoot. Can't wait to try them out. Also got myself Revlon's Steel-her Heart a few weeks ago at Sasa. Yay for a 5% student discount!

And lastly, I can't wait for this! I really want all three.

Forever 21 paying HK$11mil a month!

"In 3Q 2010, the market witnessed more solid leasing commitments by international retailers, after a US
fashion retailer – Forever 21 – secured 12,000 sq ft of retail space in Capitol Centre, Causeway Bay, for HK$11 million per month (hk$215 per sq ft per month) in the previous quarter."

That is a lot of money...

Another outfit from October, added the scarf and bag at night to go to TST and have dumplings! This was around when the weather was starting to get cold and I got a little excited and pulled out my scarf! :D But it's finally cold so I can wear it again.

Forever 21 Rumor?

Awhile back, Chloe posted about Forever 21 opening in Hong Kong. I know many people have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the news of the exact locations. According to the article Chloe read, it was possibly opening where the big Giordano is by the MTR exit F in Causeway Bay now.

Well, by the looks of it, it doesn't seem like Giordano will be closing down any time soon. I've also been digging through Forever 21's website, trying to find any press articles or new stores. Just today, I came across their new stores list.



No sign of Hong Kong opening a new store. So then I went and looked for when the Shibuya store would be opening, and I found a post from Fashion In Japan that said the store would be opening in January.

So, is Forever 21 in Hong Kong just a rumor then? I'm thinking so. Or maybe Giordano's lease isn't up yet, and Forever 21 will be opening there in a year's time?

Forever 21 in Hong Kong

Forever 21 is going to open in Hong Kong next year. Without copying their competitor H&M, the 5 story flagship store is going to be located at the Jardine's Bazaar (across MTR exit F, currently a Giordano store) in Causeway Bay.



Personally, I think they will be successful here and won't end up with a story like Sephora and Krispy Kreme. Mostly because H&M gives a great example of how much Cantos welcome 'cheap fashion'. However, whether Forever 21 will be able to expand as well as their competitor, that will be left at question.
I do know that Forever 21 moved its way to Singapore for a while already, and it's quite popular there. But, I also know that there is a bunch of Singaporeans that would fly up here to Hong Kong for H&M. Either way, cheap clothes for me makes me happy.

Spotted: In The Eight Five Two

Forgive me for posting such badly taken photos. It's hard to be subtle when you're stalking people!

These are photos taken all over Hong Kong during Spring Break.

Spotted on the Mid-Levels Escalator. Loved her long flowy dress with the dye at the bottom.

MTR Station. I liked her long sweater with the frill bag.

On the MTR. Lady reading the magazine. Simple tee paired with a belt and brown boots.

I just had to take a photo of him. I love his style. Black, white & red together look great.

Causeway Bay's City Super. Loved her bright pink leggings and neon green belt mixed with her black ensemble.

Causeway Bay Muji. Wetlook leggings with green flats, long grey tee under a black sweater. And an added 'oomph' to her outfit was her red hair!


Wanchai Tram station. I think the two girls were models. I loved both their sandals and although their outfits were simple, they looked great.


At Central H&M. Too bad you can't see her full outfit but I loved the electric blue flats with her long grey blazer and cute bag. Oh and her bob completed her outfit.


At Elements.


At the airport. I really liked the girl's simple outfit: a long stripes dress with a black jacket, leggings, and flats.


I loved the man's hat!


Last but not least, this lady was obviously not dressed for comfort! LV bag, prada boots. She brought a splash of color to all the others who were dressed down at airport.
