Topshop in Shen Zhen
I've always wondered why there isn't Topshop in Hong Kong, seeing as it's available in Singapore and Japan, both comparable metropolitan cities in Asia.. Anyway, news is that Topshop is going to be having a "pop-up store", in other words a temporary store in ShenZhen, which is really convenient to get to by MTR (Lo Wu Station) from Hong Kong. The store will open in May 1st at King Glory Plaza, Renmingnan Road, Luohu ShenZhen (深圳罗湖区嘉宾路铂金广场).
I am expecting a lot of people going to be there on the first day, as May 1st is labor day, and also cause they are doing a promotion limited to the first day, where if you gather 50 people to enter the store at the same time, you get 15% off your purchase!
For more information and updates, you can following Topshop's Weibo account (equivalent to Twitter in China) and the Popup store website!

Mani-Manifesto
So this just showed up on my Facebook feed...

(source: YSL's Facebook page)
Never expected in a million years to find a photo of myself on there. That day was freakin hot and that was my attempt at staying cool in the heat.
I'm wearing: my trusty white Topshop tank (which I really need to get a new one cause I wear it so much that it's just so gross now), H&M denim skirt, red Pedder Red bag, an H&M chain necklace, and a big chunky chain that I got in Beijing for super cheap!
I got to Central an hour before they were going to start handing out the Manifesto and wristlet, and I thought it'd be on Wyndham Street again. But then I wandered to the YSL store and found a sign saying it was by Statue Square. Since Chloe was busy and planned to meet me right before they started handing out the stuff, I had to line up all by myself. It was like 1000 degrees outside that day and the lining up was quite unbearable, especially when there was no shade. But once they officially started, the line went pretty quickly. The wristlet was gone in maybe 10 minutes.
Anyways, here are some crappy photos I took on my phone cause I couldn't be bothered to bring my Nikon out that day. Sorry for the shitty quality in advance.

A new H&M opened up at Diamond Hill's Plaza Hollywood. The storefront is quite huge for a shop inside the mall. Looked around in it for a bit but it seemed a little small, just cause it's one floor and everything seems to be squished together.

Next post will include some better quality photos. Promise.

Styling tips on beating the heat
It's summer and everywhere around the world is about a million and two degrees out. I have a planned trip to Singapore in August, and the only thing I'm worried about how close to naked I can get before getting cited for indecent exposure. So here are some tips I came up with that I would like to share:
1. Trapeze tops - some nice ones here, here, and here. All of which I'm totally digging, and wish I didn't have to pay a fortune for shipment fee. They give you room for ventilation, and a way to play with proportions if you pair it with a micro bottom.
2. Prints! Summer collections are always full of prints, so this one is easy to go. Some nice printed tops here, here, and here. These printed tops can help you hide those sweat stains. But they can't replace deodorant, so please still put on some of that beforehand.
3. Built-in Ventilation tops. These ones might be a little harder to pull off, but if you have a sexy back, why not let it breathe. If interested, click here, here, and here.
Most important of all, don't forget to put on sunscreen!
